Inspired by native flora and offered as a wearable expression of place and heritage, these earrings feature a laser-cut acrylic floral form inspired by Guasåli (Bikkia tetrandra), a native flowering of Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands. Rendered in warm, tortoise-toned acrylic, the design reflects the layered petals and radiant symmetry of the Guasåli flower.

Guasåli is culturally significant to the CHamoru people and has historically been associated with light and warmth, as its wood was traditionally used as a torch. Today, the flower is often referenced as a symbol of connection to native land, resilience, and a return to indigenous flora.

Lightweight and translucent, these earrings move easily with wear and catch the light through their open, geometric form. Subtle variations in tone and finish are part of the acrylic material and the handmade assembly process.
